‘to cut’ is an evening length work made up of Sansano’s most prolific works throughout his career. From ensembles, to duets, and quartets, the work delves into the inner connectedness of each dancer. Oscillating between abstract and literal with experimental and popular musical accompaniment, the 50 minute collage of Sansano’s movement language sways and jerks the audience to a delicate resolution.
