CHISAM. OR, THE BODY OF TWO FACES. 

Denial of the Self. According to Kohut's Self Theory, the Self is composite of four distinct parts:

The Nuclear
The Virtual
The Cohesive
The Grandiose

Selfhood is further shaped by both empathy and frustration, as well as developmental stages of mirroring, selfobjects, idealizing, alter ego/twinship and the tripolar self.

I am equally fascinated by the role of imagination in active memory, and how its dance with time can create a distorted scale from idol to martyr. The evening attempts to reveal the bitter contrast between each rendition swimming alongside the dire and rigorous social habitat that fences us in.
